I'm 16 and going on a cruise in August. Is the cruise ship Island Cruises Island Star good for teenagers?

Is there enough for 16yr olds to do (e.g. clubs for older teens) and are there a lot of teens on board during summer months?

Honest answer... No


The Island escape/star are (relatively) 'smaller' cruise ships. I have direct experience of the Island escape (Stars sister ship)


if you cant drink, and cant gamble, then you dont have a lot to do in the evening except eat or watch the shows (cabaret shows aimed at the 'older' passenger)


during the day, you will be able to get out and about at the ports. but better take some books for the evening at sea.

I recently just came back from this cruise and im am 15. There is a Teen Club on every afternoon and evening and it is so much fun. There are discos and the teen club has loads of games and even their own private swimming time. I made loads of great friends who i still keep in contact with. Hope you have loads of fun like I did.
