so im just curious.. those are the ';older'; teens right? so that still makes them teenagers right?Are 18 and 19 years old still teenagers?

Well, 18 is the legal age in the US, so I'm technically an adult, I can buy porn and cigarettes, go join the army, vote in elections, and buy a shotgun.


I can't drink, because yes, I'm technically still a kid.

18 is still considered a ';teenager';. You can buy pornography at 18 years old though.





19 is considered an adult. You can buy alcohol and cigarettes and you don't need your parents permission to sign anything - such as, a credit card.
If it has 'teen' at the end then it's kind of a giveaway =]





And, while I definitely feel separate from fouteen-year-olds and the like at eighteen, I'm definitely not ready for a full time job and a morgage yet!
Yup, totally. Right until we hit 20. 18-19 are older teens, but that doesn't stop us being teens.

Anyone aged thirteen to nineteen is a teenager. So eighteen and nineteen year olds are still teenagers.
Not in the eyes of the law. I don't consider my kids that age to be teenagers. Even though half of the time they still act like kids...they are adults.
