Considering you said 'teenagers,' and not 'teenage girls,' I would not recommend the Twilight series. It's too romantic; it even makes some girls sick.
As a teenager, I'll admit that I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings... not because it was pure Fantasy, but because it was a delightful challenge, and helped open my eyes to the standards I should set for books. The writing is poetic, and the storyline is captivating.What are some good books for teenagers?
yeah i agree with vanessa, the twilight saga is a must read for girls of all ages. During my teens i loved books by Kate Cann- hard cash is a great book which is the first in a trilogy amongst other great books by that author. Forever by Judy bloom is a must read too.
