The WWF's programs were watchable during the 1980's all the way to the mid-90's as a 'PG' program. Their wrestling was not the greatest but their show was quite watchable. Was there parts which needed improvement such as it being too kiddy? Or during the New Generation the number of just downright stupid gimmicks? Yes, of course. But why would Vince want turn his program back to TV-14? Really, when one looks at the Attitude Era it seems to me like they just derived a lot of their ideas, scantily clad women, Stone Cold Steve Austin and TLC matches, from a little company called ECW. And anyway, the male teenagers who watched the TV-14 ';Attitude Era'; were never really wrestling fans to begin with; they just liked the shock value of blood, tables-ladders and chairs, Sable, Sable and Sable and DX with its over the top skits. After a few years, they derided it as fake and didn't bother to watch pro wrestling and moved on.
As pertaining to your question, the little kids once they become teenagers will still rather watch the PG era instead of the TV-14 because they will be mature enough to realize that Vince is a businessman and going with gore, blood, lewd language and pushing the envelope is not a good business decision and they will sit back and enjoy PG era wrestling. Or if they feel they are too mature and grown up for PG era they will go to the video store and buy more extreme wrestling videos and DVDs such as older ECW, XPW and buy Japanese hardcore wrestling instead of whining endlessly about Vince McMahon and the PG era and the impossible dream of wanting to go back to TV-14.Do you think that once the little kids become teenagers Vince will turn back to TV-14?
Well maybe if everyone stops having kids it might happen some day. But I think there will always be kids. By the time kids watching now are teenagers, infants now will be watching. By the time those kids are teenagers, there will be kids that are not thought of yet. That cycle never ends, unless the world ends.

WWE is not they same. Back then all u saw in the arena were Teens and grown ups. Now all u see is parents taking there kids to watch, llike if they were gonna see the telitubies. That os why iam not liking WWE and i been a fan for 10 years. I hope they go TV-14
