What are the problems that faced by teenagers nowadays?and what are the reasons and effects?

%26lt;need alot of description%26gt;What are the problems that faced by teenagers nowadays?and what are the reasons and effects?
New statistics show that 50% of all new HIV infections in the US are in people under the age of 25. these numbers are ONLY from people who are currently testing. There are others who do not know.

There are many reasons for this alarming rate. misinformation is one of the largest. Many young people believe that if they are not having vaginal sex thay are still virgins and therefore not at risk for HIV and other STD's.

Abstinance only educations fails to teach the means of transmission. By ommiting information from curriculum that would explain how people become infected you elimanate room for the follow up question of ';how do I avoid HIV?';.

The CDC is currently estimating that the effect of these transmission rates in young people will be the loss of an entire generation to HIV/AIDS.What are the problems that faced by teenagers nowadays?and what are the reasons and effects?
Peer pressure

Depression/Stress

Competition

Bully

Drugs
alot of peer pressure is being put on kids by their friends and alot from viedos, and t.v. the effect is that there is real way to punish the kids at school or home without being reported to social services for abuse.
I know this is going to sound strange but they are the same pressures that have existed for many decades. Unstable families, drugs and alcohol, violence, sex, poverty, materialism, war, violence, indulgent parents, detached parents, lack of purpose or vision.
decision making.

the effect is everything wrong we see in society
Problem: Being indulged too much by their parents

Cause: Parents feel guilty because they work too much and want to give their kids ';what they didn't have.';

Effect: Lazy kids who don't understand the value of education or know how to work hard

Problem: Peer Pressure

Cause: Peers are a bigger influence than parents, schools, and churches.

Effect: Kids ';drift'; and feel lost and make poor decisions.

';Peer pressure?'; Lol. Well if you haven't noticed, I think that it's apparent that teenagers are being influenced by their friends to do drugs, have sex, and drink. Even though the legal drinking age in the U.S. is 21, lots of teenagers can get their hands on booze. To many, it doesn't seem a big of a deal. I remember when I was in high school, which wasn't too long ago, about a year ago, I remember kids going around and saying that it was alright to have sex since ';everyone was doing it.'; As years go on, abstinence isn't remaining very popular. Society is conforming to the idea that it's alright to have sex before marriage. It most likely won't be looked down upon because it is so common. Moreover, I'm pretty sure that teenagers of every generation face the same problems, not just this younger generation right now.

But you understand.
