Is it right that teenagers live by themselves at the age of 18 ?

It depends how mature they are. If they CAN look after themselves, why shouldn't they?Is it right that teenagers live by themselves at the age of 18 ?
wow

yes of course...if that don't i won't find that very pathetic

humans are the only animals that shelter their young for so long...it's unnecessaryIs it right that teenagers live by themselves at the age of 18 ?
My sister moved out to a whole different state by herself in her OWN appartment.. she didn't know anybody and didn't want to live in the dorm rooms... she turned out fine. she's 23 now and has her own house.
I'm 19 and still living at home because I don't see the point in paying $1,200 a month for a 700 sq ft apartment (yes - that's how much they cost in my area). I'm also saving money because my boyfriend is in the military and when he gets restationed in 2 years we want to be able to buy a house off-base.
do they have a job? are they trust worthy?do they really want to? and at that age there not a teenager anymore there an adult so if they want to live by themselves then its really there decision to make
Why not? If they have a job and are supporting themselves, why should they continue to be a burden on their family?
Eighteen is considered an adult, therefore yes.
my opinion is yes!!!! and where i live at 18 you are an adult
It depends if they're willing and able to take care of themselves.
YEePP :_)

They are an adult.
i think it is, i'm 17 and i guess technically i live with my mom but she disappears for weeks at a time leaving me to fend for myself. I do just fine, i have academic achievement awards, i'm a member of the international thespian society and i have held a part time job for the past year, oh and in the last 5 years or so i've done about 300 hours of community service.

it all depends on how responsible they are and if they're mentally able to take care of themselves
like completely alone or just away from their parents? my cousin turned 19 in december and she's been living with her friends in an apartment for the past year I think, but now she's married so she moved in with her husband.
well yeah, college...
Yes absolutely, while some kids are more mature than others, you are considered an adult at age 18. I've been on my own since age 17 and did very well. Sometimes, you cannot live with your parents for one reason or another and you have no other choice but to live by yourself.
It depends on the person..

I have met so many over 18s who just don't cut it as adults.. I would fear for them to get a job and to live on dorms, let alone live in your own place!
yes it teaches them 2 be independint and they will appriciate u much more. i think teenagers should move out at 16
well that all depends on the responsibility and maturity of the person...if it is someone who TRULY knows the responsibility of taking care of theirself and they are able then yes it is fine...but if there is someone who is immature and irresponsible then they have no business moving out on their own...But anyway after a while it gets tiresome and they'll be ready to run back home!!!
yes, it is right, it is proper, and should be mandated by every parent out there.....
Yes...as long as they are self-supporting. It gives them independence and a sense of confidence and responsibility.
At 18, you are legally an adult.. you can do what you want.. the only person you have to answer to is the law.
