Suicide is a major cause of death in teenagers. It can come from a lot of things. Some of the things include stress (how will I get into college with these grades!), low self-esteem, depression, death in family or friends (especially if the death was a suicide), and traumatic childhood experiences are among the reasons, although there are many other reasons.Is teenage suicide a major cause of deaths in teenagers if so why?
Suicide was the 11th leading cause of death in the United States.





It was the 8th leading cause of death for males, and 19th leading cause of death for females.





The total number of suicide deaths was 30,622.

Yes, unfortunately it is a major cause of death in teens. I believe it's actually the third leading cause of death in teenagers. Teenagers often feel that they are the only ones who feel the way that they do and that no one else will understand what they are going through. They feel as if there is no way out for them and see suicide as the only answer.

yes. because all teens are searching for something. me being a teen i thought about it. (im no fanatic) but after i accepted God in my life. my life has been nothing but great. and that's what i was searching for the whole time. and all my other friends have done the same thing. their searching for something, and only God can fill that emptiness. and when they cant find it, they find no reason to live. that's why there is suicide
I do not know about the major death but it certainly is a high number. drugs, alcohol is also a high number too. everyone dies of something different. suicide will land you in hell as you have killed yourself. so it is not worth it. if you know of anyone who is at risk alert someone asap.
Because being a teenager is so ******* hard.


Boys, exams, class in general, what others think of you, being bullied, family, friends and soo many other problems that go with being a teenager.


Plus, some with really hard lives at school and home think death is better than life, easier i guess, peace. (:
