This depends entirely on how much you earn and what your tax code is with your employer.





Don't pay tax:


- If you earn less than 拢6,475 over the course of the year (or a proportion thereof if you are taxed on a weekly basis)


Do pay tax


- If you earn more than 拢6,475 over the course of the year (or a proportion thereof if you are taxed on a weekly or monthly basis)





The one exception is if your tax code is BR (Basic Rate). You will be taxed on 20% on all earnings and have to claim a refund at the end of the year.
