Why are teenagers more prone to spots?

why do teens have a better chance of getting spots.


is it less likely to get spots at an older age.

It's because of the masses of changes happening to your body.


There's no clear cut answer but i believe that it is the changes in hormone levels (mainly testosterone) which causes increased production of oil/sebum in your glands and therefore blocks the pores.


The bacteria that causes spots thrive in the blocked pores and so forms the nuisances!Why are teenagers more prone to spots?
Because when your a tenneager your hormones are all over the place from puberty and as you get older your hormones calm down somewhat :)
