Does a small band of young teenagers that plays in a 2-car garage have any chance at the big time?

It could happen! It's happened before!Does a small band of young teenagers that plays in a 2-car garage have any chance at the big time?
There is a term for them, and surprise surprise bands that started out this way are called ';Garage Bands';. Wikipedia has an article that defines garage bands and says Metallica started out this way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garage_band . A few years ago I saw a show on famous bands and there were many who said they started out playing in one of their garages and then went on to perform at clubs and school dances, then when they got good enough and confidant enough, they cut a demo and sent them to as many record labels as possible, until one picked them up.

Good luck and don't give up. ; )

Happy Yahooing!Does a small band of young teenagers that plays in a 2-car garage have any chance at the big time?
sure they do - but they have to be / get good and stick with it - try out for one of those reality competition shows
Send a demo to these guys. They play all unsigned music

Of course! Go for it, if it's what you truly want. Good luck.
only if you have the fire in your heart. never say never! remember, you have to take baby steps first.
of course! a small chance, but still a chance :)

there's always places like www.garageband.com to get your music out too. (gym class heroes started there)
Do they have talent and are they passionate about succeeding? One without the other is usually not enough. Most have to play a lot of clubs and knock on a lot of doors and never give up.
The odds are against them...but you never know...
That's how AC//DC started right here in Flemington, Melbourne.
You bet...
