Is disneyland fun for teenagers?

I'm going in a week with my family. I'm 16 years old. Is there anything there that would entertain me? If so, what?Is disneyland fun for teenagers?
I'll let your peers tell you what you might find fun there, but please forgive me if I answer as a ';parent.'; Try to go with an open mind. Just accept that a lot of it is juvenile and silly and just enjoy being silly and juvenile for a while. Lord knows there will be plenty of people there, some much older than you, who are enjoying just being silly and juvenile.

Part of the fun, whether you're enjoying the attractions or not, is watching the other members of your family have fun. My mother always wanted to go to Disneyland, and I finally had the opportunity to take her. She was 67 at the time. One of the rides she thoroughly enjoyed was ';Its a Small World.'; Ugh...if there was ever a ride designed to make you want to throw up, it's that tricley sweet ';It's a Small World.'; Not that it makes you throw up, of course; it just makes you WANT to throw up! But I bit my tongue and went with her on it over and over again, she was having such a good time. I also tricked her into going on ';The Matterhorn'; -- once -- but that's another story....

And if you can't have a good time, then please try to act like you're having a good time, and make it one of those times you make a sacrifice for your family. It will also be one of those sacrifices that no one knows you're making except you. There are few things that will drag a family trip down that are worse than one member who is so obviously and annoyingly Not Having A Good Time And Wishes They Were Somewhere Else.

A bit of advice...if it's still being published, buy a copy of ';The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland.'; Amongst a lot of other information, it has the sort of advice in there about turning left instead of right, going to this part of the park in the morning and this part in the afternoon, which line to get in if you have two choices, and that sort of stuff designed to help you navigate the crowds. It also has suggested touring plans which it emphasizes you DO NOT have to follow like a parade manual, and that DON'T work 100% of the time, but if you do more or less follow their suggested itineray, are willing to get to the park when it first opens, and are willing to walk back and forth across the park to different attractions, you have very much improved your chances of skirting the worst of the crowds. We've followed it in the past, departing from it when we felt like it, and had very good luck with it.

Oh yeah, there are much more exciting rides at Six Flags (about an hour and a half north of LA) and some reasonably decent ones at Knotts Berry Farm (just minutes from Disneyland) and also some interesting stuff at Universal Studios (a busride away), if you're sticking to the Theme Parks. Whenever I go with someone to L.A., we try to do three of those four places. But Disneyland is ALWAYS one of the four. It's crowded, it's expensive, it's commercialized...but there's a certain magic to Disneyland (especially after dark) that you may experience...IF you're willing to let yourself experience it.

Anyway, wear lots of sun screen and have a great time!Is disneyland fun for teenagers?
im 19 years old and my friends and i go every year.

if you convince yourself that youre too ';old'; to ride all of those kiddie rides you will most likely be bored and hate it. but if you go and enjoy the music, rides, and parades or fireworks you will have fun:]

rides like space mountain(you should ride first because the line gets so long later)

indiana jones

splash mountain

thunder mountain(feels faster at night)

are the more ';mature'; rides.
look at all of these disneyland haters.. well two.. lol.. im 17 about to be 18 and i still love disneyland. i actually have a season pass and drive 6 hours to go there multiple times a year (nor cal bay area resident. =]) disneyland is where everybody feels like a kid. there are some big rides.. being tower of terror and california screamin. but even everything else is amazing. there is NO theme park like disneyland. just relax. ride everything and have fun. stop worring about it. its a vacation. =)
Pshh Disneyland?

Go to Six Flags! You will have more fun there
Yes, Disneyland is fun for everyone. You will love it.
not really theres a few rides that might spark minimal interest in you, but nothing will be better then looking at the girls your age
