Yahoo Answers are for teenagers and younger?

Yet, some people still think this is a teenage group forum.

Do you think Yahoo should categorize by age group?Yahoo Answers are for teenagers and younger?

No but I think users should be prepared to reveal their age if it enhances or explains a Q or A
That's a good question. I think that the way things are now there are enough categories for people to pick and choose from. Most people just decide what questions they want to answer. I've noticed there are a lot of people on here who are in fact older than teenagers, a lot. I don't think age necessarily determines the importance of a question or an answer, but rather maturity, insight, and experience. True a lot of this comes with age, but don't underestimate the young people. Some may just surprise you.
As if race, religion and gender haven't divided the human race enough ?? Now we need to find ANOTHER reason to divide us even further ??


Are we EVER going to learn to just be HUMAN BEINGS ??
It is a wide variety of ages that are here and many younger people forget there are people her old enough to be there parents or grand parents.
Yes I believe they should categorize by age group....because I have run into a bunch of different answers that were much too imature for my blood!
There is a complete mix of people here. There are people with extensive background in many areas that are helping other people all over the world, with many different things, in many different languages.





Having a mix of people is a good way for many to learn from the more experienced.


Many young people come here to get help with home work.


There are some categories already that you will find mostly youth. game categories. It would be good to add a few categories. Maybe under movies and entertainment. like Disney or Harry Potter etc. Things that would attract youth. Think of things like this that you might like, then ask for them with a question. If enough people show an interest I am sure it would happen in time.
