What did Victorian teenagers wear?

-Was there any mid-point between children's fashions and those of an adult?

-Was it a gradual change from childhood attire to adult fashion?

-At what age did girls/boys start to dress like their mothers/fathers?

-Any links to pictures of children's fashion vs. adult would be greatly appreciated. Also any pictures of Victorian teenagers (this I cannot seem to find.)

Thank you! :DWhat did Victorian teenagers wear?
The teenager is really a mid 20th century invention. During the Victorian period roughly at about 14/15 years it was regarded that the beginnings of maturity had started and consequently the more adult form of dress was put on.

This link will show you some of the late victorian fashions for girls and young women:-
